Adding Google+ Authorship to your Blog Posts

Setting Up Google+ Authorship

Assuming you have a WordPress blog and Google+ authorship is really easy to setup.

Firstly, go to your WordPress ‘Plugins’ section and search for Google+ Author…… there are a few plugins available, which all do the same job. We prefer Google+Author information in Search Results free by WPBuddy.

Install and activate the plugin by clicking the install button, followed by the activate button.

Enter your details in the relevant boxes, including your Google+ account URL, your Twitter account etc

Then you want to make sure that you include the blogs that you contribute to in your Google+ profile.

That’s all there is to it, once you have finished, click on save and within a day or two, your posts will appear in Google with your Google+ profile picture and a link to other content that you have written, making your Google entries look much more professional and raising your profile as an expert within your niche to new heights!
