You can set up multiple groups in Google+, and invite select people to join your group.

In addition you can set up Google hangouts which allow you to broadcast with either voice or video to the members of your hangout.

To get started setting up Google+ Groups, first you need to log into your account.

On the left hand side is a button marked ‘Communities’. Click on it.

You will then have the opportunity to name your Google+ Groups, add a tag line and description.

Once you have done that, all you need to do is to start inviting people.

You invite people in two ways, either using their email address, or by adding a Google+ circle and inviting everyone within that circle.

In order to increase the popularity of your blog, you want to gather as many like minded people together as possibler, and Google+ Groups allows you to do that.
